Rather than a single embroidery shade, many colours are worked onto black pure crepe silk, and the dark ground gives each one room to stand out. Our artisans embroider it by hand over months, in the Parsi Gara tradition. It is slow work, and silk, colour and craft all carry equal weight in the finished saree.
